MEMBERSHIP in NOA is on a yearly basis, beginning on 1 August.    Member fee is n $25.00, which includes all members of one household.    Send Membership questions to Treasurer

The NOA News is published quarterly,  with genealogical research notes, queries, and news of member families.    Send QUERIES, which are free for members, to Editor.

Members reside in many States and sometimes in foreign countries.    STATE REPRESENTATIVES from each State encourage meetings and promote membership within their State.

To Celebrate the TENTH anniversary, in 1989, a Cookbook of favorite recipes was published by members.

COMPUTER COMMITTEE:

A project during the new Millennium was to scan all 20 years of NOA News, to preserve on CD.    Bill Bruce is in charge of this project, and a CD is available, which covers 22 years of NOA News.

    Hello all, is there a way to connect with other Odoms who have tested their Y-DNA at familytreedna.com? I joined the Odom project there but there is no way to connect through the website. My haplogroup is I-M253 -> I-A6826 so any matches probably share my same Odom genealogical line.

    I live in Memphis Tennessee and am descended from Ransom Odom b. 1805 in Wake County, NC. 1830 Census shows him in Limestone County, AL. Died 1895 in Hernando, MS
